4 Ways to Support
Steps to Success
1. Make a direct contribution
Direct contributions help us make progress towards our annual fundraising goal, ensuring the strength and longevity of our programs. In addition, we host a gala (“Step Up Celebration”) each spring; donations above a certain level in support of the gala are considered Step Up Celebration sponsorships, which not only support our programs but also confer benefits such as tickets to attend the event and listing in gala materials.
2. Donate a gift card
Each spring, alongside our gala, Steps hosts a fundraising raffle in which local businesses take center stage. Raffle prizes are typically made up of donated gift cards and store credits, with business names listed prominently in our marketing materials.
In addition, Steps frequently host programs and events for our students and families that include food and beverages. If you'd like to directly impact our programs by donating restaurant gift cards, grocery store gift cards, or other store credits redeemable for food and beverages, please let us know.
3. Become a program partner
Steps is always looking for new partners for our programs. This includes hosting high school and college interns through our Work Connections program, leading enrichment activities for elementary and middle school students in our Extended Learning Programs, or donating materials, resources, or event tickets that Steps can distribute to students and families through our Family Engagement Program.
4. Host a fundraiser for Steps
If your customers or community would be interested in financially supporting us, consider throwing a fundraiser for us. This can take many forms, from putting out a donation box for Steps to contributing a percentage of daily sales towards our mission. However you may choose to support us, please let us know, so we can work with you to market your generosity and expand the reach of your event!
